Hours of operation (Berkeley)
Core Program 9am - 3pm
Extended day 8:30 - 9am / 3- 4:30pm
Drop off and pick up
Please bring your children in through Heinz St. gate.
You MUST sign your child in and out each day in the multi purpose room.
Please leave a written note with Christopher if there will be someone other than an authorized person picking your child up.
There will be a late flat charge of $15.00 and an additional charge of $1.00/minute for children picked up after 4:30pm.
Attendance
Please call the school at (510) 549-3867 before 9:00am if your child will be absent or significantly late.
Medication
If your child requires medication during the school day, you must send a signed note giving the camp permission to administer medication. The medication must be in the correct prescription bottle, with instructions from the doctor as to the dosage required. Medication must be given to the camp Administrator. Children may NOT self-administer medication on site.
Fieldtrips
Fieldtrips are held every Friday. Please call (510) 549-3867 for arrival updates.
Fieldtrips are scheduled to return to campus no later than 5:00pm
Monday through Thursday classes may take independent fieldtrips (teachers will advise you as to their fieldtrip itinerary)
Summer Camp T-shirts
Children should wear their Summer Camp T-shirt on all field trips (to be given out the first Friday of each session).
Lunches
All students will be provided lunch daily. Please see the document “Kid Chow lunch service” for more details.
Overnighters
First through fifth grade students may take part an overnight trip. Detailed information will be available at the beginning of the session.
