Hours of operation:

Morning care                        8:00AM –9:00AM

Morning classes                   9:00AM – 11:30PM

Afternoon classes                12:30PM – 3:00PM

After care                             3:00PM – 6:00PM


Drop off and pick up

Please bring your children in through the School’s Hickory Street entrance (between Fell and Oak)

You MUST sign your child in and out each day with the receptionist

Please leave a written note with the receptionist if there will be someone other than an authorized person picking your child up.

There will be a flat late charge of $15.00 and an additional charge of $1.00/minute for children picked up after 6:00pm.


Attendance

Please call the school at (415) 588-2000 before 9:00am if your child will be absent or significantly late.

Medication

If your child requires medication during the school day, you must send a signed note giving the school permission to administer medication. The medication must be in the correct prescription bottle, with instructions from the doctor as to the dosage required.  Medication must be given to the Health Aid or the camp Director. Children may NOT self-administer medication at school.

Fieldtrips

.Fieldtrips are held every Friday. Please call (415) 558-2000 for arrival updates.

.Fieldtrips are scheduled to return to campus no later than 6:00pm (schedules to be posted the first day of each session)

We travel by foot, MUNI, Ferries, and Chartered bus.

Monday through Thursday classes may take independent fieldtrips (teachers will advise you as to their fieldtrip itinerary)

Lost and Found

The “Lost and Found” is located in the Oak yard playground.  The receptionist has the key.

Summer Camp T-shirts

Children should wear their Summer Camp T-shirt on all field trips (to be given out the first Friday of each session).

Lunches

All students will be provided lunch daily.  Please see the document “Kid Chow lunch service” for more details.

Overnighters

First through fifth grade students may take part in overnight trips.  Detailed information will be available at the beginning of each session.
